Brightflag’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Commitments

At Brightflag, we are committed to having a positive impact locally and globally through our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) programme.

We’re also committed to working towards a net zero future. Our annual Ecovadis sustainability report is available to our customers through our Trust Center.

Key pillars of Brightflag’s ESG programme

Environment

Brightflag has defined targets to reduce our direct and indirect CO2 emissions. We achieved 100% CO2 offset in 2023.

We fully support our customers in achieving climate neutrality by 2050, a goal endorsed by the United States and the European Union.

Brightflag employees engage in community sustainability projects, and we support larger ecological projects through our Carbon Offset partner Onetribe.

Brightflag’s carbon offset certificates are available to customers through our Trust Center.

Ethics

We have implemented policies and training to establish ethical practices among Brightflag employees and ensure that we operate ethically as a business in our local communities and globally.

Labor and Human Rights

Brightflag supports people’s fundamental freedom to develop and grow through multiple Brightflag initiatives, such as our Career Pathways development program, our Thrive at Brightflag wellbeing program, Brightflag Giving, and our Diversity & Inclusion program.

In addition, we have established policies to protect our employee’s rights.

We also invest directly in our local communities through our fundraising and community volunteering projects.

Sustainable Procurement

We expect our values to be reflected throughout our supply chain.

Suppliers of services or physical goods to Brightflag must demonstrate sustainable and ethical practices in their operations.
