Luis Alfredo Contreras Vasquez is a Senior Data Scientist at Brightflag. Alfredo holds a first-class honours Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Universidad de Carabobo Venezuela, and a first-class honours MSc in Computer Science and Data Analytics from Technological University Dublin, having also held the prestigious Irish Centenary Postgraduate Scholarship during his postgraduate studies. In the Spring semesters of 2019, and 2020, he designed and taught a series of lectures called Coding for Lawyers, as a Visiting Professor at the University of Minnesota Law School. His series of lectures and workshops provided prospective legal professionals with an overview of legal analytics in the digital age, machine learning, natural language processing techniques, and insights into the latest trends in legal tech.
